Proposal for the Revision of Regulation
The Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority (PRHTA), under the provisions of Law Number 170 of August 12, 1988, as amended, known as Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Uniform Administrative Procedure Law”, wishes to inform that Regulation Number 02-005 Personnel Regulation” had been revised and will be submitted for public review as required by law. This regulation is applicable to all regular employees of the Highway and Transportation Authority.
This regulation is promulgated based on the powers conferred by Law Number 74 of June 23, 1965, as amended, known as The Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority Law”. This law on Article 4, Section r”, enables the Authority to adopt, proclaim, revise and to repeal, those rules and regulations that are deemed necessary or pertinent to exercise its powers and duties according to this law”.
